The Golden Age
Welcome to The Golden Age, a destination for bon vivants seeking joyful experiences in elegant spaces with the company of loved ones. Here I invite you to join me on my weekend getaways and global travels, as well as on my journeys in style and personal wellness. I hope to inspire you to discover more adventure and beauty in your daily life, even when navigating a full-time job and a budget.
I was born, bred, and educated in Boston, and have enjoyed over twenty years exploring this beautiful city, wandering through cobblestone streets, eating my way through neighborhoods, and soaking up the splendor of my favorite museums. For college, I crossed the Charles River to make my home at Harvard, where I was spoiled with beautiful brick architecture and out-of-town peers whom I could introduce to all my favorite places.
In my junior year of college, I founded The Golden Age, which quickly grew from a casual project to a central passion, as I describe in this HerCampus interview. While in college I also met Rolan, my love, whom you’ll meet frequently across these pages. He is my partner in all things, including this blog, to which he contributes inspiration and photography.
In addition to living in Boston, I have summered in New York City, a place I learned to love dearly, and I am thrilled to say that I will be moving to San Francisco in the fall. Trading the East Coast for the West promises to be a grand adventure, one that I am eager to share with you.
